I. Industry status and needs

The current problems of substations in safety management are as follows:
Pain point 1: In the process of maintenance some areas are still in normal operation, for maintenance personnel, there may be the phenomenon of going to the wrong area, the lack of supervision and warning of dangerous areas. Traditional overhaul supervision adopts the method of people watching people, when the relevant personnel are negligent or do not comply with the code of practice is prone to dangerous events, not only to increase manpower investment, there is also a potential safety hazard.
Pain point 2: outdoor work at height, 110kV and above main transformer casing work, the safety protection rope of the operator is tied to the safety level protection rope, and the work positioning rope is tied to the main transformer casing. The safety belt has no high hanging firm point, low hanging high with easy to fall danger, can not provide timely rescue; up and down the transformer and transformer on the transposition of no protection, casing body oil pollution easily caused by the operator slipped and fell, work near the dangerous energized equipment can not be timely reminder.
Pain point 3: In the major safety accidents of the power grid at home and abroad, malignant mishandling accidents of hanging grounding wire with electricity or sending electricity with ground wire still occur. Although the current microcomputer "five prevention" devices are forced to operate in accordance with the program by locking the grounding piles in the transformer substation to avoid misinstallation and omission of the grounding wire, they can not solve the problem of the safety of temporary grounding wire removal in the transformer substation, which makes the existing error prevention system have safety loopholes. However, it cannot solve the safety problem of temporary grounding wire removal in the substation, and it is impossible to monitor and determine in real time whether the grounding wire has been hooked up, hooked up in what position, and whether it is unloaded after the completion of the operation, which makes the existing error-proofing system have safety loopholes, and the act of closing the circuit breaker with the grounding wire can't be detected and stopped in time.

In view of the pain points and difficulties of the current situation of the electric power substation industry, Hainan Shidian Technology has launched a precise personnel positioning management system based on UWB technology, which can provide substation management and maintenance personnel with precise location service information, time information, trajectory information, etc., and send out alarms through the setting of the electronic fence to discover abnormal behavior in time, realize the joint action of automated supervisory facilities, and improve the response speed of emergencies and events It forms a three-dimensional preventive pattern of human defense, technical defense, physical defense and joint defense.

II. Overall programmatic structure

The system includes UWB tag, UWB explosion-proof base station, positioning engine software (C/S architecture) and positioning application system. Positioning tags and positioning base station communicate through UWB pulse signals, positioning base station transmits the received positioning tag data to LS1000 positioning engine for data analysis and processing through 5G network and wired Ethernet, and transmits the processed accurate position to upper layer application through open API interface.

The system components are as follows:
UWB tags: card-type and wristband-type, fixed on top of the person or object to be located, can periodically transmit UWB signals with tag ID information.
UWB outdoor wired base station: communicates with the positioning tags and transmits information back to the positioning engine algorithm software;
Positioning engine algorithm software: locally deployed, the underlying information data is collected and processed through the algorithm of the positioning engine to get the accurate coordinates of the positioning tag.
Positioning application software: locally deployed or cloud deployed, the application layer software realizes the basic functions such as positioning display, track playback and other functions, as well as the business functions such as electronic fence, intelligent inspection, attendance statistics and video linkage based on the expansion of location data.

Fall detection for elevated work
