Product Overview:

WE-ZB2400 is a serial to wireless 900MHz radio device embedded with Digi's XBee module, users can complete the wireless 900MHz to serial function without development. Through the bottom of the dip-switch switch, you can realize the transparent conversion of RS232/RS485 interface to 2.4G ZigBee, the maximum output power of RF terminal is +24dBm, line-of-sight transmission distance of 15.5km@5dbi antenna.

RS232 connection

When FB-ZB2400 selects RS-232 interface communication, it adopts three-wire 232 level to realize simple serial connection, and connects to the user's equipment through DB9 male connector.


RS485 connection

The FB-ZB2400 provides an RS-485 level serial port when the two-way dip switch is set to the right position. RS-485 is a half-duplex communication method that requires only one pair of twisted-pair wires to realize data communication among multiple devices. RS-485 is a half-duplex communication method, which requires only a pair of twisted pair wires to realize data communication between multiple devices. The data is transmitted by balanced differential transmission, which requires the installation of termination resistors on the transmission line.

In addition to the main unit, the device is equipped with a 5dBi ZigBee omni-directional antenna. The antenna gain of 5dBi means: an RF signal source radiates a signal outward, if no antenna is used, the signal energy received at a certain place is assumed to be 1 unit, but with this antenna, the signal enhancement at that place will be 1,000 units, i.e., 5 times of 10, so this antenna is 5Bi.
