Usage

point-to-point transmission

WE-WM900 can realize the wireless 900MHz transmission application from serial device A to serial device B by simple configuration.

DigiMesh Networking Serial Transmission

Multiple WE-WM900 radios can be used together, each radio can act as a transmission node for other radio network routing, two WE-WM900 radios when the transmission distance is too far away when you can use the other radio nodes in the network to jump over, the distance is no longer an obstacle to hinder the application of the user's obstacles.

API communication

In addition to the commonly used serial port pass-through application functions, WE-WM900 radio also provides users with the API communication mode, which means that the external controller can realize the functions of sending data or executing serial port AT commands by sending command frames in a specified format to the serial port of WE-WM900. In API mode, WE-WM900 is able to realize more functions than in passthrough mode.

The API frame format of the WE-WM900 radio is defined as shown in Figure 4-2 below, including a fixed frame header of 1 byte, a frame length of 2 to 3 bytes, frame data of 4 to n bytes and a checksum of 1 byte
