Warranty and Return Policy
- We guarantee our products with an industry-leading warranty that covers any manufacturing defects for a full 3 years, during which time we will replace or repair your unit at no charge! If for any reason you are not satisfied or our product or does not meet your requirements, simply return the unaltered, undamaged unit within 30 days for a full refund without affecting secondary sales.
- Return Policy and Money Back Guarantee
If within 30 days of your order being shipped, you find that it does not meet your needs, you may return it for a full refund (excluding shipping and handling). However, we cannot accept returns on customized orders as these are "made to order", nor can we accept returns on orders that contain 5 or more items as our IoT products are not stocked in small quantities and all shipments are prepared from the time your order is received. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances beyond 30 days. However, we may make special arrangements depending on the circumstances. You must obtain approval for all returns prior to returning an item. Please contact us via one of the following methods:sales@west-hn.com for return authorization. Any damage to third party components such as sensor products and communication modules is not covered by the warranty. Communication modules include, but are not limited to, all Ethernet, WiFi, ZigBee, 802.15.4, XSC, Bluetooth, RS-232 and some USB modules. - Return Fees

If a manufacturing defect is found, the product will be repaired or replaced at our option. If the customer is located in mainland China convenientlyGround transportation will be provided by World Power Payment. If the customer is located outside of mainland China, e.g. Hong Kong, Taiwan or other countries, SEIDEN will not be responsible for return shipping costs. If the product is returned without any manufacturing defects, the customer will be responsible for all return shipping charges. - Surface Mount Repair
Our customers should consider surface mount devices as non-repairable. However, we will attempt to repair a damaged surface mount device for a fixed price of RMB 200 to cover labor and parts that may be required. The surface mount repair procedure may damage the main chip. We are not obligated to replace chips damaged during the surface mount rework process. If the master chip cannot be repaired, we will not charge the RMB 200 repair fee. Customers have the option of returning the product (for an additional fee) or discarding the controller. 200 RMB repair fee includes all shipping costs to mainland China. - Microprocessor Products
Due to the sensitive nature of MCU and microprocessor products, returns of these parts or devices will not be accepted under any circumstances. The money back guarantee will not be honored on these products. Microprocessor products are defined as any product sold as a single chip on our website. - Special Order Items
Special order items are customized at the time of ordering and in some cases, are customized to the needs of individual customers. Special order items do not qualify for the money back guarantee. - hardware

Our design engineers extensively test and debug our firmware prior to product release. However, we cannot guarantee that our product 100% is error free. If you find an error in our firmware, we can suggest alternatives to solve any problems you may be experiencing. We believe that firmware upgrades are simply part of the natural progression of technology. Therefore, we do not make special exceptions to our policy for firmware errors. Our engineers will check for firmware errors and make adjustments as needed. However, it is usually not possible to make quick changes to the firmware because the design engineers at World Wide Electric have their own research and development programs. If you are not satisfied with our product due to a firmware error, you may return the device in accordance with our refund policy. Under no circumstances will special exceptions be made to our policy due to firmware errors. Firmware upgrades are free, however, we do not distribute .HEX files and we do not cover shipping costs. To obtain a firmware upgrade, please contact us to make arrangements. Your product must be shipped asin good conditionReturn it to us in good condition to qualify for a free firmware upgrade. We do not include shipping costs associated with firmware upgrades under any circumstances. - Shipping Refunds
due to World Power Free shipping option is available (for mainland China customers only), therefore World Power Shipping refunds or credits are not available under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, shipping errors made by World Wide Electric's staff and/or shipping errors made by SF or any other courier service. This policy also applies to shipments that may arrive after the estimated delivery date. - Policy exceptions
Our policy, like our business, has evolved over the years and serves as a mechanism to protect and grow our business. We trust that our policies will be clearly outlined and if you do not accept our policies, we may develop exceptions if you contact us and negotiate an exception to our policies prior to placing an order. Under no circumstances will exceptions to our policy be considered after you have submitted your order. We want to stay in communication with our customers and their needs as often as possible, but in the interest of fairness, we ask that you consult with us about our policies prior to submitting your order.
